Wadhwani Initiative for Sustainable Healthcare (WISH) is working to build an equitable, innovation-led ecosystem that puts quality healthcare within easy reach of the poor.
WISH Foundation works to scale innovations for an equitable healthcare system and make available, accessible and quality primary healthcare to underserved populations, with a focus on Indian states seeking urgent redress to their health problems. The Foundation plays a facilitative role within the healthcare ecosystem to ensure need based, high potential innovations, enterprises are identified, supported and scaled up within a service delivery system to embed vibrant, sustainable cycle of healthcare innovations.
The strategic vision of SCALE is ambitious: a sustainable market and solutions for the last mile. By 2020, WISH programs aim to reach 10 million underserved people with quality healthcare services in partnership with the governments of Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Odisha, followed by many other states through a scale up of 20 high impact healthcare innovations.
WISH is launched and implemented by Lord’s Education Health Society (LEHS), an Indian Not for Profited vide a Board Resolution dated 02.10.2013. LEHS’s core values and commitment to the poor is to pursue the highest standards of accountability with regard to management of its financial and non-financial resources, program quality and people. It is governed by a committed group of leaders from various disciplines; a multi-disciplinary team of passionate and dedicated professionals manage it.
